Amy primarily focuses on the areas of Family Law and Probate Law.

Dedicated to her clients and the community, Amy Bender-Levy is a family law attorney with a laser focus on helping people get the best possible outcome. Though she’s always ready to fight for her clients if necessary, Amy goes into every case with the optimism that it can be resolved amicably and with minimal “collateral damage.”

Known for her calm demeanor and ability to connect with her clients to understand what they’re going through, Amy is there to help you navigate through difficult situations. She can walk you through family law matters, such as child custody and spousal support, as well as issues like grandparents’ rights, adoption proceedings, and guardianships of minors and adults.

Objectivity, Empathy and Realism

When you need a strong advocate to negotiate or fight for what’s right, Amy’s in your corner. Her friends and colleagues say she’s objective and incredibly knowledgeable – both on each case she tackles and the law – and that she has an uncanny ability to empathize with people in a huge range of situations. She’s realistic and reasonable as she helps her clients work through the difficulties of divorce, and she ensures that everyone she represents gets the best possible outcome.

How Amy Earns Her Clients’ Trust

From the moment you meet Amy, you understand why her clients trust her with the most important matters of their lives. She listens to understand what you’re saying (rather than waiting for her turn to speak), and she carefully reasons her way through every possible argument that could affect your case. Amy puts herself in your shoes so she can see all angles of the issues you’re facing, asks you questions that help her develop winning strategies, and goes out of her way to keep you updated on your case. And even better, she regularly reaches out to you to address issues you may not anticipate so that you’re prepared for anything that comes your way.

The bottom line is that Amy has the experience, empathy and knowledge you need to get a successful outcome in your family law case. She’s worked in firms with hundreds of attorneys, small firms and nonprofit organizations helping people in situations just like yours, and she can help you, too.

When Amy isn’t in the courtroom, resolving issues for her clients, or working on a case, you’ll find her outdoors making the most of whatever each day holds. She spends as much time as possible with her family and friends – including cheering on her three kids at their sporting events, participating in triathlons and spending time soaking up the sun in the great outdoors.
